Abstract:
Objective To observe the clinical effects of rehabilitation training on the treatment of acute organophosphate poisoning induced delayed peripheral neuropathy (OPIDN).
Methods Totally 80 cases of OPIDN were divided into two groups, and the rehabilitation training group of patients received additionally rehabilitation training except for the conventional symptomatic treatment. Three month later, the electromyogram,the muscles strength,clinical effect and SF-36 health survey score in two groups were observed.
Results After three months' rehabilitation training, The patients in the training group had better conditions than the patients in the conventional treatment group, or before the rehabilitation training, and the differences of all observed indicators had statistically significance(
P<0.05 or 0.01).
Conclusion The rehabilitation training was practically effective in the treatment of OPIDN. It has application value and could be used in the clinic.
