Abstract:
Objective The core of emergency management work in hospital was found out by using scientific evaluation methods, to form a set of objective and efficient emergency management organization system, and finally improve continuously the level and ability of hospital emergency management.
Methods The names of disaster risk events were determined by data analysis and brainstorming and then emergency management organization structure was established in standard form. The safety emergency managers in hospital were consulted with the hospital disaster vulnerability questionnaire designed on the Kaiser model of the risk assessment matrix to analyze the possibility, severity and preparedness of emergencies, obtain the relative risk of disaster events, and continuously improve the weak links of the current emergency prevention and control of the hospital according to the results.
Results A total of 103 questionnaires were distributed and 101 effective evaluation forms were recovered. The disaster risk events of the hospital were divided into three categories, namely personal injury(relative risk: 33.6%), technical accident(relative risk: 30.0%) and natural disaster(relative risk: 14.2%), with 18 subdivided risk items. Among these 18 dangerous projects faced by the hospital at the current stage, the top five risk events were occupational exposure, elevator trapped incident, hospital security incident, information network failure and fire accident. According to the analysis of disaster vulnerability, after six months of improvement, the effect of hospital emergency prevention and control management was gradually appeared.
Conclusions We should focus on the harm of occupational exposure of hospital medical staff. The emergency management system based on Kaiser model can effectively improve the hospital's emergency response ability.
