Abstract:
Objective To observe the importance of follow-up nursing care in the non-surgical therapy of cervical spondylotic myelopathy.
Methods A total of 82 patients with cervical spondylotic myelopathy, who received non-surgical therapy, were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. The patients in the control group were routinely given nursing care. The patients in the experimental group were given follow-up nursing care. 12 months later, the awareness of health knowledge, the healthy behavior, the days of acute onset, the COA score, the recurrence, and the therapeutic effect of all patients in these two groups were surveyed again.
Results Except for the indicator "the days of acute onset", the other indicators in the experimental group were much better than those in the control group.
Conclusion Follow-up nursing care can effectively improve the effectiveness of non-surgical therapy of cervical spondyloticmyelopathy.
